Vac Forming is not cheap unless you alread have a machine (I doubt he has a vac form table)

Nice to see someone else making one of these. Simply enough, I suggest you use thicker wire for powering connections, that's the most thin wire I've ever seen used. :P

Thin power connections will destroy you. Even if they can get the unit turned on, they will not be able to provide enough power ...

Possible, yes. Practical, no. The things are different so you would have to do some crazy soldering and splicing of lines in order to have it work. Why not just use the PS2's DVD drive?

I have no background in electronics, just graphic arts. But when you do this sort of thing for, wow, 7 years now you learn a lot via osmosis.

What do you mean by 'best'? The AC adaptor that comes with the PSOne screen outputs 7.5 Volts. The screen can use anything between 7.2V and 9V.

Mine has run fine on 9V, but I think remember reading somewhere that 9.6 caused problems.

Mods, sorry this has happened, feel free to move.

-S-Video input
-2 Headphone jacks
-AV Multi Out port(same as the PS2 Multi Out)
