ps2 slimline laptop

Yes well here is my idea for putting a slimline in a dvd player laptop. replacing the dvd buttons with ps2 buttons and having a built in wireless for my controller. not to mention it has a screen that I am almost 100% positive it will work with since it does already by pluing into the av output on the side of the dvd player. I am new to the site, but I have visited quite often for purposes of ben's xbox laptop. maybe if my ps2 one goes right i'll build a ps3 laptop. or maybe ben will beat me? Well anyway here are the pictures.

hmm did you see my ps3 in the background? or did you just like my upcoming plans for it. also on other hand i have good news my ps2 laser is burnt out =\ bummer. but this is so fricken sweet. the laser in the dvd player works with my ps2 isn't that awesome!!! so this might be even easier then i thought it would

Lol i saw the PS3 in the background, But thats awesome and extremely rare that the laser works! Is the dvd player made by sony/have a sony dvd drive?

not sure who it is made by. but the laser electrics work. the motor and disk spinning thing i'm njot so sure of. but those can easily be changed and the brackets modded for a ps2 one. easily

Oh not a big thing, this is more personal tastes, but you should paint it black to match the controllers not a major thing, but i think that would look cool, But the gray/silver looks good too. Use some fine grit sandpaper to, to give it the ps2 texture and everything
