Wii accidents

Post by gamemasterAS »

Well I was wondering if anyone else ha accidents with family playing the Wii this years over the holidays ? My Grandma who used to bowl a 200 or higher decided to join us in playing, we are playing in front of a big 40 inch Tv. When she played she just let go of the wiimote trying to pick up a spare. It flew through the air right above the TV and smacked the wall pretty hard. And all be damned just like ever game boy I owned its almost impossible to break those things.

I've never thrown my Wiimote by mistake, but I did smack it REALLY hard on my desk while playing Wii Baseball. No damage whatsoever, not even a scratch. Nintendo makes tough stuff.

Everyone says the Wiimotes are unbreakable, but I disagree! Mine hit the floor and it turns on and off whenever it feels like now! I don't even think I can return it!

If you're looking at this post and it was made before 2008, just ignore it.

Call me stupid, but did you replace the batteries? The batteries just died in my Wiimotes. They only lasted a month, which is terrible compared to my Wavebird. My Wavebird has been in moy possession for about three years and I've replaced the batteries maybe four times.

My strap broke, which may or may not have been due to a fit of rage in Zelda.

And my sister's Wiimote actually became a bullet! Her friend was playing Wii Baseball with her, and she pitched a bit too hard... WHAM! Right into the bookshelf! Lucky, because if it would've been another foot over, a porcelain vase wouldn't have been with us today! :)
