he's right, they both have the same excrement pin connectors.

and why doesnt someone make a top loading NES from a NOAC.

or heres a challenge, someone make a toaster Genesis with a GOAC.

Thats an awesome idea! I would make a toaster into a console with NOAC, and GOAC cartridge slots in the ...

Top loading rant.

To be honest, I'm tired of the whole craze of the Top loader.

Top Loading NES's are not as great as everyone makes them out to be.
I have owned mine since they came out.
I use my Toaster NES 9 times out of 10.
People complain about how much blinking goes on with the toaster and how you HAVE to ...

Actually the only version (that I know of) without AV is the top loader....which is stupid because the RF on the top loader is really weak and crappy.

ok, so I bought a ROB today with all the parts EXCEPT the controller holder part (with the red and blue buttons). I need to know where to get one...?

Also, does anyone know if there is a manual for it? I have looked through the NES system manual, but no luck.

NO NO NO! NEVER USE A PETROLEUM BASED PRODUCT ON PLASTICS! :shock:

Most plastics turn soft when you use somehting like WD-40 or Goof-Off on them. Don't risk screwing up your controller!

What you should do is open it up and clean EVERYTHING with isophryl alcohol (it's only somehting like a buck ...

u can open the d-pad by gripping the top tightly and snapping it off, if u want it to slide around quicker try cleaning the inside with Windex, or spray some WD-40 under the red circle

yeah, i tried this...the WD-40 just seems to dry up. I was thinking maybe using a grease lubrecant. but I dont ...

Hey, did any of you guys play Day of the tentacle? That game rocked. I still have my disk and just figured out (thanks to a friend) how to play it with sound on windows xp. Now i have to get a hold of Sam and Max. Does anyone know where I could get it? Thanks
