?A/V outs on a NES?

i was lookin at my NES today (ya know just because) and on the side i noticed to RCA jacks one for video and one for audio

if these are here than why does everybody seem to have to build a video board or do i have some kind of later model NES, i do remember us getting rid of a broken NES and buying a new one

People remove that silver box, the video signal that you can grab after taking it off is fairly weak.

those are normal I never have used an NES Using r/f. I always used the A/V plugs. (kinda obvious... )

Actually the only version (that I know of) without AV is the top loader....which is stupid because the RF on the top loader is really weak and crappy.
