Well it had the right voltages but then when i went back to double check there wasnt anything. I checked everything, so i dont know what.

OK this makes it even more complicated. I plugged it in and texted them. They came up 7.6 and 5.05. Thats good right? Well then I came to the computer to check to make sure those were the voltages i was looking for and then went to test them again, NOW NOTHING. This POS is starting to tick me off.

I guess i should add that when I set it up to test it out again i register a voltage on the different components with a multimeter. The CD drive has power but it doesnt do anything, in fact all the parts have power but they dont do anything.

I guess i didnt explain well enough. The PSone was completely taken apart. Board was by itself with the controller slot, power plug, av plug, all sitting in a box. Then i wanted to test it out to check on how my soldering was going. so i soldered the power plug back on and then connected everything ...

The two cords are different you will not be able to interchange them. But if your making a portable there shouldnt be any cords, isnt that kind of the point?

Yea I guess. For right now I just jammed it in there. It doesnt stay well but it works for now. Maybe Ill solder it when im sure thats where i need it.

I dont know if there is but taking a look at a few my guess would be its more work than its worth. If you are going to do it i would say replace the whole thing, then you will at least have boards to work with.
