if youve got naturally greasy skin, then frequent washing will only increase the problem.
i used to wash my face a lot hoping it would prevent the spots, but it just caused more grease buildup and more spots. i changed to just washing my face in the shower and it balanced out.
look at your familys skin to help.
luckily ive grown out of the worst stages of spots. being 15 was crap.

Yup, there's a thought! Actually washing your face!bicostp wrote:Look for the off-brand Oxy pads. They work pretty well.
If you have a pretty nasty looking one and you need a temporary solution (to get through the school day or something), crush a couple aspirin into powder (between 2 spoons works well; catch the dust in a small cup) and add a couple drops of water, to make a paste. Put it on there for a few minutes then wash it off. The aspirin will reduce the redness and it won't hurt as much.
Of course you could just go into the bathroom and wash your face in the morning and evening (showers don't count. Do it when you brush your teeth in the morning and after you get home in the afternoon.) This works for me.

Dang it, I knew I should have scrolled down before trying it! Ouch! :pGamelver wrote:Put windex on it.....
. just kidding...don't put windex on your face, please.
My parents, even thogh I didn't really care at the time, were kind enough to buy me acutane pills. Now I won't ever get acne again. I don't even have to wash my face for days straight. It's more for convenience than for looks.
