if youve got naturally greasy skin, then frequent washing will only increase the problem.

i used to wash my face a lot hoping it would prevent the spots, but it just caused more grease buildup and more spots. i changed to just washing my face in the shower and it balanced out.

look at your familys skin to help.

luckily ive grown out of the worst stages of spots. being 15 was crap.

Cut down on the greezy foods, cause that crap gets on your face and it will cause that. Also drink more water. Im talking like 3+ litres a day.
I'm the man, if you don't think so, you're wrong.

If you have a pretty nasty looking one and you need a temporary solution (to get through the school day or something), crush a couple aspirin into powder (between 2 spoons works well; catch the dust in a small cup) and add a couple drops of water, to make a paste. Put it on there for a few minutes then wash it off. The aspirin will reduce the redness and it won't hurt as much.

Of course you could just go into the bathroom and wash your face in the morning and evening (showers don't count. Do it when you brush your teeth in the morning and after you get home in the afternoon.) This works for me.
Yup, there's a thought! Actually washing your face!

Do you really sleep with the toothpaste on your face, or am I just being too literal? Because I think your pillow might get kinda sticky!

Dang it, I knew I should have scrolled down before trying it! Ouch! :p

My parents, even thogh I didn't really care at the time, were kind enough to buy me acutane pills. Now I won't ever get acne again. I don't even have to wash my face for days straight. It's more for convenience than for looks.

Washing my face with the nuetragena (sp?) soap once in the morning then again in the evening worked pretty well for me.
