sry for the double-post. never mind about the AV cable in the PSOne screen. alright, i just gotta buy stuff for the SNESp.

Question: is there a device or something that lowers the voltage of the screen and stuff so i don't have to have as many batteries?

k. i'll just stick with the psone screen and just wire it instead of using the AV cable.

wait, can i use an AV on a PSOne screen? i've never actually seen one in real life, so i wouldn't know.

couldn't find it. im not really lookin for a screen that you would put on a game system, im looking for a screen you can buy at radioshack or somethin with audio and video inputs. like at a project store or something. or do those not exist?

im back!

im back and i have a question. Can someone tell me if this diagram is right? dont worry about buttons, dont worry about the voltage, and dont worry about how im going to transfer the energy from the batteries to the SNES board and screen. Just tell me if i have the right idea.

i did put AUTOEXEC.BAT i just accidentally typed AUTOEXEC.EXE when i was typing the reply. oops!

If you want to continue with the sandisk idea - www.idot.com has a compact flash to ide adapter board that will boot because the mobo sees it as an ide drive. Format the CF as a bootable drive, install an OS to it, copy/install your game, set up your autoexec.bat file or menu or whatever, reboot ...
