Oh, okay. I hadn't know the 360 used the same architecture.

Hey bic, your table is wrong. Xbox360 has an ATI video card, not Nvidia. :P

As far as everything else goes, when people call the Wii a souped up Gamecube, what they usually mean is that it was a very small step forward. They went from 485 MHz and 43 MB of RAM to 729 MHz and 88 MB of RAM, not quite ...

I can get some pictures, but likely not until later this evening or possibly tomorrow afternoon. I am away from my camera right now.

Wow, I hadn't expected it would take me so long, but we had a lot of snow, which halted my painting. It is, however, complete so I shall post some pictures today and ...

Yeah, I was able to take it apart, now it's just getting it back together. I know how most of it goes, but just a few pieces I have no clue about.

Gamecube Lid Disassembly/Reassembly

I apologize if this issue has been addressed before, however I was unable to find it in my search through the board. There seem to be a lot of guides on how to disassemble the Gamecube in general, but none of them work with the lid at all. I am going to be doing a paint job and I need to disassemble ...

Thanks! I would go smaller, but this was the only LCD I could find with a good price (other than the PSOne screens). Another is that I wanted a screen that wouldn't be dwarfed by the size of the laptop case.

The battery I'm planning on using is an 8.4 Volt 4200 mAh RC Car battery pack. I can get ...

HANNspree ST09-10U1-017 10-inch

While looking for a screen for my SNES laptop, I came across this:
http://tinyurl.com/yqr4nl

Am I right in assuming that because it has composite video input that it will work for such a purpose? Also, the specs say that it is around 5 inches thick. How much of that is likely to be empty space or ...

I'm probably gonna go with NiMH RC car batteries like these: http://www.batteryspace.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=3359

Are those a good choice? It'll be powering a SNES and a 10 inch LCD TV.
Will I need a charger for those as well?

I haven't a clue where to buy an LCD like that though ...

Thanks guys! I'll probably start working soon, though I have been pondering about the sort of hinges to use on the screen. I may scrap the laptop idea though. It seems to be more trouble than it's worth. I'll probably come up with a better, less labor intensive idea. Or at least one that's flashy ...

Super Famicomp (Proposed Snes Laptop)

For a while I've been toying with the idea of a Snes laptop, and finally decided to build it. I have run into a problem, however. Since it will be a laptop rather than a hand held, I want a screen larger than the one for the Playstation. Does anyone have an idea of a screen I could use?

Also, would ...
