Could I Use 5 regular 1.5V AA Batteries to power the project
My design requires 7.4V, however .1V shouldnt make much difference. Also, would I be able to use 6 1.2V rechargeable AA batteries?

Re: A few questions, sorry I'm a NOOB.
ok well, you guys have helped, I think the problem may be that the wiring is incorrect. I wish I had it in front of me right now so I could give you guys more details, but its actually been a few of us working on it, and I'm not too sure what the others have done.

What are the dimensions of the N64 circuit board?
I went to go buy a project enclosure today and couldnt tell from the size if it was the same or not. Also I heard that it takes a 7.4V battery with 4200 mAh, I couldnt find anything remotely close to that either, I found a 3.6V but it only had 600mAH (I wanted to just put 2 in series), any ideas ...

Re: Screen Problems
I have seen usefulness on the screen, (when you change the brightness or volume, it shows on the screen whether you are increasing or decreasing it) I'm not exactly sure what kind of power supply I am using as it is in a lab at my school, I checked the voltage with a Voltmeter however to make sure I ...

Screen Problems
So I connected my N64 to a PSOne screen and used a 7.4 V power supply to both of them. Both the N64 and the screen powered up, but once I entered a game, the PSOne screen turned black and flickered like crazy, any idea what could be wrong?

Re: Help!! Burned/Broke a data line
I just have one more question, do you think the broken data line I described in my original post would effect the video from working?

Re: Help!! Burned/Broke a data line
the small silver circle is on the backside, but when I flip it over, there is a big Square pad just opposite of where the small circle one is, so I was wondering if I could solder to that and solder to the 2nd pin from the front side?
Thanks a lot by the way.

Help!! Burned/Broke a data line
While trying to remove the controller ports on the N64 for the 1st and 2nd player, I accidently broke the data line that connects to pin 2 (the second pin from the right if the board is upside down) of the 1st player's controller. Is there anyway I can fix this? Or will I have to go out and buy ...
