So I connected my N64 to a PSOne screen and used a 7.4 V power supply to both of them. Both the N64 and the screen powered up, but once I entered a game, the PSOne screen turned black and flickered like crazy, any idea what could be wrong?
P.S. A data line from pin 2 of the first controller port is broken and no longer connected to pin 2, could that be the problem?

Re: Screen Problems
Did you ever see anything useful on the screen, or is it garbage the whole time?
- are the grounds connected together
- is your power supply big enough? (If its a Psone screen power supply Id guess it Isnt)

Re: Screen Problems
I have seen usefulness on the screen, (when you change the brightness or volume, it shows on the screen whether you are increasing or decreasing it) I'm not exactly sure what kind of power supply I am using as it is in a lab at my school, I checked the voltage with a Voltmeter however to make sure I was getting the required 7.4 volts, and the grounds are all connected together.
Re: Screen Problems
do you have an expansion/jumper pack installed (forwards). Preferably jumper pack
does the game work in other systems? try other game.
double check video pinout on both devices. you can scope it if you in a lab?
are you supplying both the 12v and 3.3v power inputs to the n64?
