So I have a quite messily-done SNESp right now (see sig) and I'm looking to simplify its case, and I have some questions:

1) To save myself from opening my monstrosity prematurely, can anybody tell me the dimensions of the motherboard of the original SNES model?
2) Would any of the cases from ...

Would that particular polycase be decent for an original SNES portable? I've been meaning to make a case for my project for a while, because currently it's just inside the original case with a screen and controller glued onto the back.

Don't you have to do that RGB capacitor mod for the mini SNESs?

This happened to me too, and it's nothing to worry about. It depends on what video input you're using for some reason. If you use composite video, you'll get sound on 2 & 3; if you use RGB video, you'll get sound on 9 & 10. Could be the other way around, I don't remember.

minkster: Thanks, but I'm using the orig SNES, not the mini There's a separate controller board attached to the SNES mobo with a ribbon cable in the orig SNES.

I've been wanting to remove my controller plugs from my original-style SNES for a while, so that I can use it for my controller->parallel connector. But the controller board on the SNES is separate from the motherboard, and they're connected with a ribbon cable. Problem is, I suck at tracing and ...

You're gonna glue 100+ pages together? That's gonna be incredibly frustrating. The glue will add at least 50% of the thickness of the whole book. And like Klefmung said, if you miss one page, the whole thing falls apart. You'd be much better off just getting a block of wood and carving into it.

I had the same problem with mine. I just have some clay that holds the cart in place :X

The red slot on the PSOne screen is the one with the red and white wires... the other one has blue and white wires.
