I don't think the big focus should be on cars yet, it should be on producing electricity. Most of the electricity is produced by coal and other fossil fueled plants. If we were to switch to electric cars we would only be moving the source of pollution and fuel consumption. It takes a lot of ...

Still got the 324 Rocket under the hood?

I am looking into a '50 2dr with a 303 Rocket, it has been in storage since the 70's. The owner wants $2300, but it is complete.

please keep in mind most older cars, iron duke 4 cylinders and large v8s as example, redline at less than 6 thousand rpms, iron dukes redline at less than 5000, that would be VERY bad to do in anything less than a preformance car
Yep, that's what gave the Fiero a bad name, people taking the Duke ...

What about Leo and Patrick?
That was The ScreenSavers, pre-G4 Screensavers was awesome. AOTS has always sucked.

I have an interesting scar on my neck where I dropped my butane soldering iron while rewiring my car. I was working under the driver's side dash with my back on the floor and my legs going over the back of the seat. I had just finished up a joint for the guages when the iron slipped out of my hand ...

I remember when you posted that, you lucky bastard. I just happened upon my 1000 at a thrift store, $5 for everything. If I had more good games and a better monitor (I use my 1702), I would make space for it.

I don't get to play with it much any more, but I like playing Populous and Lemmings. Sadly I don't have the desk space to leave it hooked up anymore.

i presume the cpu heatsink blowing out (sucking throug the heatsink).

Most blow towards the heatsink. I have only seen a few slotted PIII Dells that have it sucking past the heatsink with some wierd ducting.

I have a spare adapter if you would like to buy one. The SNES AC adaptor plugs into another adaptor that clips into the VB in place of the battery pack. It would probably be possible to modify the battery pack to serve the same purpose. Or you could crack open the controller and add a separate AC ...
