Kind of weird, like when I was enabling TSOP flashing on my Xbox (1.1 with Sharp TSOP FYI), I touched my index finger's tip ever so lightly, and nothing happened. Didn't feel anything.

BTW that was a failure, EvoX didn't even start to erase. Glad I got a modchip comming!

Well I had a dare... To grab a 15w soldering iron that had been on for 15 mins, for 5 seconds.

Yea, I felt it, I have the scar on my hand, and the $100 ;).

Bad hospital run though :(

I have an interesting scar on my neck where I dropped my butane soldering iron while rewiring my car. I was working under the driver's side dash with my back on the floor and my legs going over the back of the seat. I had just finished up a joint for the guages when the iron slipped out of my hand, landed on the floor, rolled and hit me in the side of the neck.

I came really close to having a bad solder burn the other day, I was cleaning up the crappy solder joints on some cheap chinese made door solenoids for the shaved door handles on my friend's truck. They had very large blobs of high sulphur content solder that needed to be removed and replaced with some good 40/60. I was heating it up and had a nice pea sided blob liquified and ready to be sucked up, the table it was sitting on got bumped and the molten solder blob fell off and I felt it roll accross the top of my thumb. I jerked back quick enough that it didn't burn me but it did tin and singe every hair on my thumb before landing on my jeans.

I haven't had many mishaps doing small jobs, but I have removed a couple fingerprints when I wasn't paying enough attention.

And did the hospital bill cost more than $100?
