Virtual boy question....please help!

I read somewhere that the Virtual boy a/c adapter is just a super nintendo wall plug with a modified connector. Can I just use my own snes power cord and modify the other end to power my virtual boy?

The SNES ac adapter will work as is. I've done it myself, it will cause no damage or any problems.

How did you modify the end that connects to the virtual boy controller?

You could do this: Wire a RC car port to the Virtual Boy. Wire a RC connecter to the SNES adapter (keeping the SNES part) There you go

I have a spare adapter if you would like to buy one. The SNES AC adaptor plugs into another adaptor that clips into the VB in place of the battery pack. It would probably be possible to modify the battery pack to serve the same purpose. Or you could crack open the controller and add a separate AC jack.
