Right, thats the one. I have no idea which linux it is nor how to get to the root. I've been searching for a way to get the best out of this ereader, but nothing yet. And I havent opened it just yet because I dont want to void the warranty, not yet anyway.

Im talking about the company in general. I bought one of their netbooks, the Asia just to see what it could do or what I could do to it and I never got it.

Anyone have a Cherrypal? Or heard of them?

I got a slicK e-Reader for Christmas and want to know if i can put linux on it. If so, how? I have never installed linux to anything other than computers, not devices..please help

No, it doesn't work with my phone service. I should have gotten the iphone clone, that would work with Tmobile.

How would I be able set a frame pointing to google? I cant click links when I get emails.

It does come with radio, but no wifi. Does wifi use the same radio waves? Is there a way I could use this as a hotspot for my laptop?

A friend of mine gave me a Gateway Profile. Once I started it up, found out it has a power problem, it cut off after a few seconds. Email is all I have. I dont have AIM, either way there should be a way I can SMS without knowing their company, like teleflip.com. I just found out yesterday they are no longer providing that service. If anyone knows of another just like it or similar, please let me know.

Anyone heard of the Peek? getpeek.com? Well anyway, I have one and I like it a lot, but Im positive there can be some kind of hack I can do to make it do various other things like internet access through the service, um...listen to radio, you know just something more than what it is capable of doing ...

I have a Peek, don't ask(getpeek.com), anyway I text my friends through my email with addresses like ##########@tmomail.net, but I would like to know how to text my friends without knowing which phone company they have. Anyone know the address for ALL phones?

I dont want to spend money on an adapter. Do you have one?
