SMS(text) my friends

Post by Xc3ll3rator »

I have a Peek, don't ask(getpeek.com), anyway I text my friends through my email with addresses like ##########@tmomail.net, but I would like to know how to text my friends without knowing which phone company they have. Anyone know the address for ALL phones?

I'm pretty sure you're out of luck.

You could TRY to send one to an incorrect company and see if they correct and forward it for you.

If you can IM on the peek, use AIM (other protocols can probably do this too) and send an IM to "+" and then the full number (example: +17732025862).

Email is all I have. I dont have AIM, either way there should be a way I can SMS without knowing their company, like teleflip.com. I just found out yesterday they are no longer providing that service. If anyone knows of another just like it or similar, please let me know.

use the browser based AIM Express.. its easy and most phones work with it without knowing the company. +areacodephonenumber as the user name.. DO IT!
