RF is antenna. Composite goes to the 8 pin connector.

The EXT is for the modem. The Mega CD goes on the slot in the right.

Ass the smiley guy says, there're a hundred of mappers, so if you wanna make a cart reader, you've gotta reverse engineer all them and make it compatible with them.

The mappers are used for bankswitching the ROM since the NES can only read 65536 bytes of data.

Well, I have a Model 2 Mega CD which is ass old, and a Model 1 Mega CD which is even older, and they both save perfectly in the internal battery. But still, RAM carts are very useful, for example, with the Lunar save I've alredy filled all the Mega CD 1 memory.
