Hey guys, Im planning on Making my Friend a SnesP its just i need some help..

Its mostly the same thing. the mini is small and uses less power. I think that the snes takes 2 different votages...while the mini only takes one...but then again I could be wrong
I say just go for it, besides what fun is making somthing if you don't break somthing. Im up to my 16th psone controller...if I only had some diazepams

Its pretty much exactly the same but no capacitor replacement that is required on the Mini. However you may be using the original version one which has a small seperate board(not the controller board) above the power jack and I don't know what that is for, so hope you got the single board(and controller board) one.

That extra little board is the sound circuitry.EvilnessNMyVeins wrote:However you may be using the original version one which has a small seperate board(not the controller board) above the power jack and I don't know what that is for, so hope you got the single board(and controller board) one.

PAL is a tv resolution. US, and most of North America use NTSC (I believe Japan does too) the rest of the world uses the PAL which is what that SNES model outputs. If they are capible of being modded to out put NTSC then go for it but I doubt it.HotDog-Cart wrote:whats PAL?
As for your little project. The SNES that uses the second board for the sound card is the v.1 and is very rare. Chances are its a v.2 and you have one board.
