yeah mothatrucka I have the pics and I will upload them soon unless turkinatr could possibly tell me where the + and - are....
I did use a multimeter to test possible combinations and I think I found the right spot but when I attach a 6v rechargable battery nothing happens.
I may have fried it
edit: have you tried the Ben Heck method of disabling built in games?
Note the single wire going across the contacts - this disables the crappy built-in ROMS.
the above is in words of Ben Heck not me
edit: O.K. I got the pics uploaded. this would probably be better in my other foru but while theres someone else working on a powr joy portable here I mind aswell upload it here.
so heres the power board for the pj noac
now when I test voltage directly on the battery pad things I get about 6 volts
after following the trace the negative charge runs through a resistor and turns to about 1/2 volts
I assume this means that there are 4 batteries just to make it long lasting (and by trying to attach 6 volts directly to the noac I probably fried it) So keep that in mind turknatr
well I think my noac is fried because it wont start off of just the red and yellow wire. I will try and solder all the wires on tommorow and use double A batteries and find out for sure. also I dont remember which side of the pcb the wires came off of...
Sorry about the huge picture, I was downsizing them but photobucket went down for maintainence before I downsized the last picture
