I have taken several pics so far, not uploaded my web site with them, although will do over next days (will let you know on this thread). Basically, into weekend now, wife has been nagging me about how much time I have been doing my website lately, so probably won't get much project done before Monday!
Spent a grand total of 20 minutes from start to get to this stage:
SNES board removed, used a different 2200uf capacitor from an old dead PC motherboard, as it was smaller than the one on the SNES; removed the RV video plug by soldering it from the board, removed all the heat removing plates.

Plugged system into my television, all fine.

I then of course turned on the system after the power was removed, to empty the capacitor.
Anyway, at least you know the project is underway. I don't expect this one to take many hours to complete, it is just getting the time allocated...
I will relocate the cart slot of course and work out the pinouts for the audio and video, try an RGB mod, etc, etc. Plenty to do, but shouldn't present much of a problem (I can always keep composite if the RGB mod fails).
