Sound, but no video on interact screen
Yo. My interact gamecube screen is messed up, and now I'm only getting sound. I'm testing it with an xbox, and it has worked on it before. It's being powered by the gamecube power adapter.
Some little black thing popped off of it, its like a cylinder, and the screen will run without it. I tried reattaching it, and it still won't work.

I think its a capacitor, and they are directional, so you need to put it back on the right way.ShockSlayer wrote:Yo. My interact gamecube screen is messed up, and now I'm only getting sound. Backlight or Ribbon Cable.
I bet it's just something loose somewhere.
And the capacitor, it's hooked up to the regulator and ground right? I wouldnt' doubt if it's jsut a decoupling capacitor, in which case it isn't neccesary for the screen to run but doesn't hurt (smooths out voltage spikes, I believe).

Well, its all hooked up, I checked the ribbon cable, and i think its ok. I know its not the backlight, but if it helps, sometimes, before it went out, the picture would mess up if it was moved around.
