backlighting the PSone screen has always been the trickiest part in dealing with using the screen.....the ccfl tube in there just uses up too much damn power.....and the top of the screen with the inverter takes up too much space....but what if there was a way to save power....and still have the ccfl backlight!!
well, look no further than a GC screen inverter circuit

!!! a couple days ago my GCp V1.5's leds fried (they sucked...specs were all wrong...they didn't even run off 3.6V, like normally!!) and I was messing around with the ccfl backlight, trying to see if I could somehow still use that. I didn't have a psone screen board with the inverter circuit still intact, though, so I had to find something else.....hello old GC screen board....hey, what's this?!? an inverter circuit?!?!?
I tested it out, found out that it works fine with a 7.5V input, and proceeded to cut the circuit out of the pcb (actually, apart from the rest of the pcb

). anyway, so now I've got a ccfl backlight that only uses.....100mA of power

) so anyone can build the circuit
