Here is a 5 second paint picture of what I want to build.

I bet this is way over my head, but hopefully some of you electro-geniuses can help me out.
I want it to be really big.
Any ideas?

Wow! You really know your stuff. Thanks, I will look into this.marshallh wrote:Why?Mr. Cool wrote:ZING!

For building that kind of scoreboard you could probably use a PIC16F876 microcontroller. You could probably multiplex some LED displays to it, and you're set! Just hope you have enough I/O lines left for the buttons
After watching 3 hours of pokemon with my little cousin, I found it ironic that someone would mention it. It really does look eerily similarmarshallh wrote:Why?Mr. Cool wrote:ZING!

Well I want the numbers to be visible from pretty far away, but I also need to be able to move it (when I have to leave campus during breaks) by car. So I guess it would be something like 1.5ft tall, 3ft long, and about 4 inches deep. I should be able to rig it up on top of my light fixture (piece of junk). Also, how would I make it award a point only when two, or more people press a button at the same time (confirmation purposes, that way nobody cheats HA).shmagoogin77 wrote:how big do you want to make the score board?
