yeah, it's impossible to have a GCp inside a gamegear...I'm telling you right now, that it is physically impossible......the screen alone doesn't fit, as said before, and I know the GC+controls+battery won't fit...so try making a bigger case, ok ;)?
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

even if you cut up all the pieces in a blender (inluding battery/controls/dc-dc converter/etc.) I'm willing to bet it wouldn't fit in the GG :P....sorry to kind of put your idea down, zenloc, but I know the GC....your gonna have a hell of a time trying to fit even the psone screen in there...believe me, I've compared the two (GG case and PSone screen board) and it's almost impossible for even the psone screen to fit....you could cut the top off, and then the bottom, if you rewired the traces, but even if you DID get the screen in there, you'd have a lot of other stuff to fit in there....I'd suggest just getting all the guts of your GCp together, seeing the smallest and best way to arrange them, and then getting/making a case for that instead....trust me, it's a lot easier than trying to fit it into a GG ;)...but hell, if you manage to do it, then props to you, man :)

It won't fit...I already looked into it about 2 weeks ago while working on my mGENp.

:::EDIT:::
Here is a better angle on it...

It'll take up too much space...not really worth trying unless you wanna extend the width of the GG case.

well it fits i cut the motherboard and the psone screen board everything fits just the it wil be a bit thicker than the gamegear so i have to modify the case a bit i will soon put up a couple of pics showing the mother board and the psone screen in the gamegear like i said it is very possible and it will be done i'm telling you will let you know what the progress is here is a little sneak on the case a couple of days ago with the screen fitted in nothing wired though just to show you that it fits

http://img414.imageshack.us/img414/4794/dsc022647hh.jpg

there you go it fits and you might think the controller won't fit that's very true that why i have a smaller conrroller that does fit third party controller with exeptional good quality

thrust me it wil look great will show some pics of the GC to GG while i'm making it so you can see what i'm doing anyway like i said before i'm having a little problem with my screen i'm getting weird tornado like likes when i turn it on and it's not because i cut the motherbaord so short

beacause it worked when i cut the baord but now it's acting al weird and stuff i don't know what it is please look a couple of posts up to see what the actual problem is

Like I said before...

As for the lines, take a toothbrush, and dip it LIGHTLY in alcohol. Then go over the entire motherboard for the lcd. What this will do is help get anything that is loose or any little solder balls that made its way onto the board. Double check that nothing is crossed, and as for your connections, make sure that you don't have any strands sticking out.

Wow! I didn't think you could cut that much off the PSone screen and gamecube and still have it work! If you finish this you'll be getting a super wow from me.

What are you planning on using for the 12V battery?
