no to both questions, just dremel off the top so it's flat and it'll work...don't cut off the bottom, though, 'cause there are still a few traces that I missed or something that causes the screen not to work
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Go to Cascae Surplus Electronics. They have 3mm LEDs with a typical rating of 6000-10000mcd@20mA for only $1.mikm240 wrote:thanks for that info i didnt do the led mod so that very important
i would do it but i didnt feel like ordering the 3mm leds online on because radio shack only has 5mm but i really should.

You can use Ni-MH, they would cost less. Also, if you look through their site, you can get the same power from different packs for less $$. I noticed that if you buy the RC Car packs over the regualr solder tabs of the same size, its less money. Also, depending on if the battery has tabs or not effects their costs. Their site is a bit funny, but keep looking arround until you come up with a soloution...
2 orders of http://www.batteryspace.com/index.asp?P ... ID=40&HS=1 costs less than your original pack...
