top of the screen

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

no to both questions, just dremel off the top so it's flat and it'll work...don't cut off the bottom, though, 'cause there are still a few traces that I missed or something that causes the screen not to work :(
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Go to Cascae Surplus Electronics. They have 3mm LEDs with a typical rating of 6000-10000mcd@20mA for only $1.

You can use Ni-MH, they would cost less. Also, if you look through their site, you can get the same power from different packs for less $$. I noticed that if you buy the RC Car packs over the regualr solder tabs of the same size, its less money. Also, depending on if the battery has tabs or not effects their costs. Their site is a bit funny, but keep looking arround until you come up with a soloution...

2 orders of http://www.batteryspace.com/index.asp?P ... ID=40&HS=1 costs less than your original pack...
