I'm thinking of hacking a SNES Multitap to work in a parallel port using this tutorial. I'm going to use the first method (where he has just the cable, not the box with the 4 ports in it). Should it work if I use a multitap instead of a controller extension?
So, instead of using the female end of an extension cable, I plan to just cut off the male end of a multitap. This should work, right? I don't want to waste $15 if I can't help it.
Edit: It seems that my post has been moved to Super Nintendo 16-bit. Why? It doesn't have anything to do with portablizing a SNES, just with hacking a SNES controller to work with a PC. It seems like it would belong in a different forum, but whatever.
Anyways, is it impossible for this to work or do you guys just not know?
