PSP Firmware 2.0... When?

Do you guys think they will crack the 2.0 firmware so you can use it for homebrew and stuff cause I want to get a psp for my bday which is coming up soon so I can play homebrew on it can you put movies on the card with 2.0?

I dont want a white psp black is way better Ill get 2.0 for my birthday which is a little bit after the release of 2.0 if I can.

The white PSP looks awesome. My only grudge is that they kept that stupid yellow around the power jack.

from what i have heard, the update will be forced, if yu want to play online or buy and play newer games, as they will not run without the patch. its a way to ensure that the PSP will be running with the newest patch, and without non-sony software and what not. if you read around, sony is trying to put a strangle hold on the PSP market, as they have shut down man key importing veins that bring PSP's out of japan...

www.spong.com they always have some interesting news with a flare for keeping it human, and easy to read.

btw, the site is based in the UK, meaning we get slow load times over here, but its worth the wait.... always like the british...
