I think you can find the controller pinout at doomportables, or search further back in this topic (or Gamelver's GCP topic). As for RGB, if you can't get your way to work period, try the DAV out way. I posted the links earlier. If you're using a 15kHz screen (PSOne), you don't even have to hold B down at startup and you can use Csync from the multi-out.

i know theres just one button but is this how i could do for all the buttons, thereby,no splitting controllers and still have a landscape design(which i won't use for this project but maybe for future use) ?

…except they destroy the original feel of the controller because they reduce the travel of the buttons and make them click instead of touch.

But joysticks are easy, you desolder them, put them on another piece of PCB and solder wires from the stick to their original locations. I suggest moving the control stick and slicing off the D-Pad, then resoldering the connections to both (just scrape off the white stuff carefully or use fine-grit sandpaper).

an exacto knife or even just a steak knife (which is what I used most of the time :P) usually works pretty well for scraping that white crap off :)
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!
