Ok. I got Mame32 and I've downloaded games and put them in the roms folder, why wont they work. if anyone has this program and can help me out i'd appreciate it.
Yeah, i have the same problem with MAME32 also. i can try to open a game, and it tells me that every game i have is corrupt. but the games i try to play work fine in mame 0.97 for DOS. i might just have to revert to my 90's command line-self. *sigh*
I am no one, and I can defeat/stop/scare/kill you.
I am nobody, and I can do it.
I am none, you are second to me.
I am who, and I could/did do that.
I am Jake Turner.

I have the exact opposite problem. The DOS never wants to find the files i tell it to.MikeJones wrote:Yeah, i have the same problem with MAME32 also. i can try to open a game, and it tells me that every game i have is corrupt. but the games i try to play work fine in mame 0.97 for DOS. i might just have to revert to my 90's command line-self. *sigh*

File-->Audit Games also works like F5. Also, a lot of games are inherintly non-working as you see with the titles marked with a red box. You also need the proper bios to play many games (especially neogeo). You can get every bios here: http://users.aias.gr/lagakis/bk/files.htm
After that your games should all work.
