17 pin help
Hello,
Any tips / advice for soldering the 17 pins. I'm having a difficult time getting enough solder on them without it touching another connection. THansk.

I forgot that Turbo said lemon juice works equally well, but I have never tried it. Flux comes in a tube, and helps the solder stick to the pins and pads. Try either one.
Solderring 101:
The solder pen must touch and heat up both the pad and the wire.
The solder should be fed to the side opposite the pen, not to the pen itself.
It will simply melt when the surface it touches is hot enough.

Nice diagram.
I prefer to melt some solder on the end of the wire, and then place it on the pin (or wherever) I am going to solder to. I then melt the solder thats on the wire. I find this stops the risk of frying the board (the N64 board anyway).
However, I think nos_slived's method is the better method, (it's the way my tech teacher taught us, but he said do it how you prefer), but I personally find my method easier adn less of a risk.
