has sound BUT NO video?
Well I do now...and I really need help as my SNES portable is a project for a robotics/circuitry class (we get to choose what to do)
The SNES is definitely on, since the sound works...
the method i used to test it was just plug in the original A/V cable to a TV and the original 10V adapter...
Im afraid that I might have shorted something, but I dont remember actually shorting anything, smelling burnt stuff, etc.
If this helps, the only things I did to the SNES to put me in this annoying situation was resoldering the capacitors and changing the RF shield around
by bending it according to the SNES guide on www.doomportables.tk
Project is due in a few days
