Yeah, there is sound, its that little headphone jack on the side. Although it was meant to drive a speaker, not headphones, so it's WAY too loud for headphones. I'm thinking a resistor would fix that? I don't know how much resistance to use though 
And I can easily bring it to shcool and not get in trouble....I'm homeschooled! I can do anything I want! (not really)

How about headphones with a volume control?
They're great (especially when you plug it into the line output like I did on the computer last week when I was tired.)
