Beginner Kits

Post by gannon »

I was thinking of putting together some beginner kits for my store later this summer. I'm looking to make them a low price, so I'd include:
Soldering Iron
Solder
Desoldering Ribbon
Multimeter
Wire Stripper
Wire
Looking like all that would sell for around $15 + shipping. I think it's a pretty good price, and I'm pretty sure that that's about it for the basics :)

$15?!?!? that's a REALLY good price....I might have to buy few :P....
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

I'm assuming these things are really cheap through Digikey? :? "cuz the cheapest soldering iorn I have found so far is $10.

Maybe what you could do is sell kits for the 2600 composite mod, or maybe a "grab bag" assortment of stuff like tact switches, pots, and resistors. :)

Nope, infact, digikey is fairly expensive for most of these parts. Buying in bulk is the only reason I can sell these so cheap :)

hmm... maybe, but there are so many different parts it'd be kinda hard. LEDs and tact switches wouldn't be bad though.

To bad it isn't auto-ranging. Unfortunately, if it was, you would have to raise the price to about $50.
