N64 Controllers

Post by mymixed »

Im making an N64 portable and am wondering what controller I should use. I want to replace the C-buttons with a gamecube C-stick and the joystick with the Gamecube joystick. Thanks,

Then it has to be a third party controller.

The Superpad 64 is one of the best to use.

Sorry, I saw that post but I thought it was only compatible with the original controller.

The c button replacement is compatible with any n64 controller, its the the analog stick replacement that requires a 3rd party controller (well technically you could swap the analog stick on a first party controller but its much harder).

I'm going to have to agree with this, but there is one controller which is much better.
The Tomee N64 controller
This controller is pretty small, works perfectly, and uses a Psone Joystick.

Haven't see enough people use it to prove that it is better than the Superpad.

We'll see. :)
