Well, they shouldn't have to invest too much time; Microsoft bought out the makers of Virtual PC a few years back, and have been maintaining it ever since. So, they own a Windows emulator capable of running on G5s, sounds like backwards compatability right there to me...Sparkfist wrote:I have to agree wholly.
The G5 chips would be able to run 32bit code but I dont think Microsoft would invest the time and money into such a thing when the Xbox's only really big hit were Halo and Halo2 of which I'm sure ports would be easier.

For the XBos portable. Microsoft came out publicly saying it was quite foolish of Sony to try and compete with Nintendo in the handheld area (HAH!), so I don't think Microsoft will be doing this themselves any time soon.
