Help!!! i think i messed up! (fixed...kind of)

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Help!!! i think i messed up! (fixed...kind of)

:cry: so i think i messed up. the pin connector for the n64 when i took it out to move it around i also took out the expansion i did not desolder it i just sort of ripped it off the board is not broken or anything but when i i put the pin connector back into the same place it wont turn on i dont know if i broke it or how to fix it if you know how to fix the problem please message me and here is a picture not good but the best i can take : http://s961.photobucket.com/albums/ae92 ... The N64 cart connector "plugs" into the expansion port that you ripped off. Now when you push the cart slot into the holes it does not connect with anything. You will have to solder all 50 cart slot pins to the pins that are right next to them where the expansion slot was connected.

lol i just figured that out last night but thanks , ughh guess what im gonna be doing for the next couple hours :wtf:

oh and also i am halfway through soldering and im kind of sloppy cause my hands shake a lot and will it still work it some of the wires touch or the solder connects to another wire? :shock:

No it will not work properly if wires are touching. You need to make sure they are all not touching.
I am diabetic and my hands shake also. What I do is rest my hand on the table while soldering. Keeps it steady.

ughhh god this is gonna take for ever!! is there an easier way than soldering all 50?? oh and if not what is the best wire to use?
