I got the one with the port in it because its easier but you can just strip the fuel gauges wires and wire them up to the outputs of the PCB

while i am waiting for the batteries i thought what the heck and decided to buy a zn-45 due to the fact the case i had originally constructed was quite stupid.

i also feel like i should remove the expansion port but if i do, do i have to do any extra work to keep the cart slot in its same place?

for some reason my screen goes on but my n64 doesnt. i tested it with the plug and i figured it was dead so i bought i new n64 for $10 anyone have similar probs?

i just got the bats in the mail but now i gotta wait for a new n64 board. talk about bad luck! and can i use my 7.5 psone adapter as wall power?

Did you make sure the 7.5v was ONLY hooked up to the 12v part of the N64? And then you run 7.5v through the Ti chip for the 3.3v line.

so hook the adapter up to the 12v line after the ti chip? i hooked the adapter to where the battery would normally be hooked up.

Yes the adapter goes where the batteries + and - would normally go. Then the power goes out from there.
