Is it possible to just buy a snes cart slot and desolder the one on the system?
That would eliminate the worry of keeping everything intact.

I've wondered this same thing, can you buy cart slots otherthan the NES72-pin ones that're every where?
Where did Ben get the cart slot for his Exodus? Surely he wouldnt've dumped a system just for the cart slot. (although he is reckless enough.)
