Re: GARAGESALES 2008-20XX!
Went to flea market today and got sonic 3, sonic spinball, road rash, and a sega version 2 power supply, and also sonic 2 for game gear for $4.00 total. I also got six movies for $6 being sex drive, from dusk to dawn, and tremors 1-4. All in all a productive day.
That's Hacking Awsome

Re: GARAGESALES 2008-20XX!
I went to a local Thrift Store yesterday and scored me some classic games. Well..... more like cleared them out. Because when I got to the store. They had just put the games out to sell. But when I left, there was nothing left
But I don't have any 2600 games on carts. So it's a good boost for my collection.
Anyways, I got Twenty-five vintage video games for both Atari 2600 and Magnavox Odyssey 2. And a Atari 2600 game organizer. All for $14.50 (not inclucing tax). I paid 25 cents apiece for the Odyssey 2 games. And 50 cents a apiece for the 2600 games. I got 4 sets of doubles with the 2600 games. But all of the doubles except for Pacman have some kind of label differences.
(Now featuring the real face of Nightwheel!)

Here's the Full Games List.....
Atari 2600:
- Centipede
- Missile Command
- Combat x2
- Yars' Revenge x2
- Pacman x2
- Space Invaders x2
- Cosmic Ark (Imagic)
- Starmaster
- Asteroids
- Pitfall!
- Dragster
- Donkey Kong (Coleco)
- Smurf: Rescue in Gargamels Castle (Coleco)
- Adventure
- River Raid
- Warlords
- Basketball
- Target Fun
- Grand Prix
Magnavox Odyssey 2:
- Pick Axe Pete
- Thunderball
Not a bad haul i got yesterday if I say so my self.

Re: GARAGESALES 2008-20XX!
WHOOPS!
Seems that I forgot a few games from my last post.
Yesterday, I found 5 more Atari games I bought on Wednesday. I found them while out in my moms van looking for something else. Didn't even know they were out there.
Here's what I found:
Enduro
Defender
Haunted House
Realsports Volleyball
and a third copy of Pacman

One of the best finds ever made by me. I could not freakin believe it.
How would you spend $5? I dunno, prolly waste it.
I bought a great condition copy of EARTHBOUND for the super nintendo for Five Freaking Bucks.

Holy flux I am lucky.

Re: GARAGESALES 2008-20XX!
Today I picked up a working SCHPH-70012 PS2 with two controllers for $20. More than what I would have wanted to pay, sure, but it'll make a nice profit for me.
This same store had a few other consoles but I didn't have the cash to get anything else.
They also had a really nice DVD player (handheld) that would have made a great case for a portable but I didn't have the cash. I may go back later and get it, and like I said, it would make a nice portable (screen pops open to reveal disc tray, plenty of room for buttons, et cetera). Imagine a huge, gray PSP with curves. I also found a composite output portable DVD player I may go back for as well.
Weirdly, the only game I could find was the greatest hits edition of Tekken III for the PS1 and it was lodged between a stack of music CD's.

Re: GARAGESALES 2008-20XX!
University surplus sale. Bought a HP LaserJet 4m+ monochrome laser printer. The thing is 15 years old, (no USB, but included a network addon) but works perfectly and is very cheap to maintain. Best of all, my house has ethernet ports in the bedrooms as well as wifi, so I ran a cord to that NIC, set an IP address, and was able to print without plugging anything into my computer
Oh yeah, $5 + tax + $.25 spent on a parking meter

He bought it, of course! Who doesn't want their own parking meter?

I got it for free, out of the trash.
This was about 1-2 years ago; it came with a toner cartridge.

Went to the biggest thrift store/flea market (three levels) I've ever been in and picked up a novel iomega "Clik" drive, few games each for Sega CD, Sega Genesis, and Sega Saturn, and a game each for Playstation and NES.
