I went to a local Thrift Store yesterday and scored me some classic games. Well..... more like cleared them out. Because when I got to the store. They had just put the games out to sell. But when I left, there was nothing left :P

But I don't have any 2600 games on carts. So it's a good boost for my collection.

Anyways, I got Twenty-five vintage video games for both Atari 2600 and Magnavox Odyssey 2. And a Atari 2600 game organizer. All for $14.50 (not inclucing tax). I paid 25 cents apiece for the Odyssey 2 games. And 50 cents a apiece for the 2600 games. I got 4 sets of doubles with the 2600 games. But all of the doubles except for Pacman have some kind of label differences.

WHOOPS!

Seems that I forgot a few games from my last post.

Yesterday, I found 5 more Atari games I bought on Wednesday. I found them while out in my moms van looking for something else. Didn't even know they were out there.

Here's what I found:

Enduro
Defender
Haunted House
Realsports Volleyball
and a third copy of Pacman

Today I picked up a working SCHPH-70012 PS2 with two controllers for $20. More than what I would have wanted to pay, sure, but it'll make a nice profit for me.

This same store had a few other consoles but I didn't have the cash to get anything else.

They also had a really nice DVD player (handheld) that would have made a great case for a portable but I didn't have the cash. I may go back later and get it, and like I said, it would make a nice portable (screen pops open to reveal disc tray, plenty of room for buttons, et cetera). Imagine a huge, gray PSP with curves. I also found a composite output portable DVD player I may go back for as well.

Weirdly, the only game I could find was the greatest hits edition of Tekken III for the PS1 and it was lodged between a stack of music CD's.

University surplus sale. Bought a HP LaserJet 4m+ monochrome laser printer. The thing is 15 years old, (no USB, but included a network addon) but works perfectly and is very cheap to maintain. Best of all, my house has ethernet ports in the bedrooms as well as wifi, so I ran a cord to that NIC, set an IP address, and was able to print without plugging anything into my computer :)

Oh yeah, $5 + tax + $.25 spent on a parking meter

I got a better deal on my 15+ year old laser printer

I got it for free, out of the trash.

This was about 1-2 years ago; it came with a toner cartridge.
