I need a tutorial on how to solder a cart slot to a radica. I herd the rom chip only has 23 pins...

I have 2 questions:
1. So I just solder the matching pins of the cart slot to the matching pins on the ROM chip?
2. Do I leave the unmatching pins alone?

OK I made a mistake. I didnt realise that most of the pins on the lable side are NA(theres like 3 not NA). And so there are probly 40 or so pins remaining same with the connecters on the rom spot!
