does anybody know how i can run the gamecube and screen without a stepdown regulator? and how would i wire a controller if i was to do a handheld? thanks for the help.

You would have to use two different batteries. Gamecube needs at least 10v and the screen can only use 8.0v.
So you could run the Gamecube off a 12v battery and the screen off a 7.4v battery. Otherwise buy a cheap $8 regulator.

I put a Psone screen on a Dreamcast and called it a portable and got blasted by the guys at DigitalPress. They said it wasn't a true portable and directed me to this site. 4 years later and here we are

i am going to order everything i am missing tonight.i already have a screen on the way,fan,leds,a soldering iron,hot glue gun,epoxy,wires, and a gamecube with accessories.so far i have to order a battery,charger,case, and step down regulator.
anything i am missing?
