so... that would mean i have to build a circuit that would take wave samples at the same frequency the xbox does (i assume the console converts the digital audio into analogue) then I have to find out how the sound is transmited to the headset using data+ and data- pins :s (any electrical engineers here?) I thought it might be little easier than that. i thing i just going to chop the headset itself removing the usb altogether in exchange for the standard stuff. Do you think that's possible, hopefully? I don't want to destroy the headset just to find out that it was all for nothing :s
P.S. can you imagine the suffering of typing this whole thing on a phone? XD

Right... I just had a look at a pair of Turtlebeach X1s and what you have is Standard cables you would get from any headset plus USB (divided from one cable) ... which makes me confused
gonna disasemble the control box of my headset and I'll post what I got

Haha! The workings of the headset are not as complicated as I thought!
I don't even need to mess with the USB part of the headset

I am only interested in this side cause that's where I can see the wires which are conveniently labeled
So my plan is to solder a stereo jack and a mono jack to the PCB as I have plenty of space where I can place them, and of course make some mods to the casing to fit the jacks.
Post what you think, I really appreciate guidance as the biggest mod I have ever done is installing a switch to the PS2 to fool the sensors lol
