none taken. I actually lost my wire. I found it though. I might not use that, though. I'm getting terminal blocks, hopefully.Basement_Modder wrote:My apologies if you took offense. I said that because you didn't have wire yet on the 6th page. All kidding aside, hope you make some good progress!mikeyg wrote:What?Basement_Modder wrote:Triple fail!!!!!!!!!!!mikeyg wrote:I'm buying wire tomorrow.

Re: WIP: N64 portable
I have been sick, but slowly working on it. No pictures, as of yet. Just rewiring the cartridge slot. I was supposed to get a dremel from a member here, but my paypal didn't work.
My dad might get me one for a graduation present. I hope it goes well.
Also, 200th post.

Sorry to hear you were sick, must suck. Good, you got the cart slot wired. The worst is behind you, now.mikeyg wrote:I have been sick, but slowly working on it. No pictures, as of yet. Just rewiring the cartridge slot. I was supposed to get a dremel from a member here, but my paypal didn't work.

Eh, I'm fine. Yeah, it was pretty annoying. Thanks for the encouragement.Basement_Modder wrote:Sorry to hear you were sick, must suck. Good, you got the cart slot wired. Re: WIP: N64 portable
That's not a problem, I'll find one, after I get the batteries. But in Parallel how long will these last?palmertech wrote:You will need a charger.
Re: WIP: N64 portable
Depending on the game, the pack you use, the revision, the battery wear, etc... I would wager at least 5-6 hours.
I bring justice to its avoiders, and pain to its resistors.

Re: WIP: N64 portable
my board says 1996 under the cartridge slot.Right above it it says NUS-CPU-03. Don't know if that helps.megabite wrote:Depending on the game, the pack you use, the revision, the battery wear, etc... I would wager at least 5-6 hours.
I'm just using the jumper pack, I don't know how to find revisions....
Baterries say they're new.

Re: WIP: N64 portable
NUS-CPU-03 is your revision. Revision 03 is US launch revision. Overclocks very poorly, wastes more heat and power than later revisions, and is pretty much indestructible.

Cool. It is pretty indestructible, I've thrown it around quite a bit. I didn't want to overclock anyway.marshallh wrote:NUS-CPU-03 is your revision. Revision 03 is US launch revision. Overclocks very poorly, wastes more heat and power than later revisions, and is pretty much indestructible.
I'm still in shock, how small this board is.... I mean just wow!

it wasn't like he was saying he was 11 to show off that he was advanced mentally for his age, he was just saying that a monkey or equivalent (the average 11 year old) probably could use a pen to unscrew it.

Again, when people try to look smart, they look stupid..
Now stop, filling my thread with this crap. This was already settled, no need to bring it back up.
