I have been sick, but slowly working on it. No pictures, as of yet. Just rewiring the cartridge slot. I was supposed to get a dremel from a member here, but my paypal didn't work.
My dad might get me one for a graduation present. I hope it goes well.

Depending on the game, the pack you use, the revision, the battery wear, etc... I would wager at least 5-6 hours.

my board says 1996 under the cartridge slot.Right above it it says NUS-CPU-03. Don't know if that helps.
I'm just using the jumper pack, I don't know how to find revisions....

NUS-CPU-03 is your revision. Revision 03 is US launch revision. Overclocks very poorly, wastes more heat and power than later revisions, and is pretty much indestructible.

i myself am 14 years old and would be considered at least moderately intelligent and i have had some experience with electronics and engineering when i built my mame arcade machine last year. so i was making more of a retarded generalization that younger people are "stupider".
it wasn't like he was saying he was 11 to show off that he was advanced mentally for his age, he was just saying that a monkey or equivalent (the average 11 year old) probably could use a pen to unscrew it.
