ok as I said in my coming back thread I am starting a project (two actually but the other is a surprise )
As hinted in my recent addition to the reference thread this first project is a SNESp based off of the Duo. I am using a 2.5" LCD and a 4000mAh battery 7.4V lithium battery to power the portable. I am trying to make it the smallest as possible with at least 4 hours of battery life.

also how did you get the cartridge slot out in the first place? My desolder braid doesn't quite do the trick, even if I add more solder, then try suck it up.

I recommend one of these (vacuum desoldering pump) and a somewhat hot iron (40W or so), or just use one of these (desoldering iron).

because the desoldering braids can often pick up more than the iron can because of the tip the iron uses is fat and often hard to remove solder. I ripped out so many pins on one of my boards when i removed the cartridge slot.
its sticking up (the trace), and part of the circle it connects to is gone, but there is still some of it left. can I pull the trace out completely and redraw it with pencil?
I could easily fix it with a wire, but if I could draw it in that would be even better.
