Quick battery question

While we're here talking about batteries, I'm a noob, but I'm beginning a SNESp build, and my dad has some spare batteries lying around. They say 6V4.5AH on the front. Could I use this as a power source for my SNESp?

No, you'd need either 5v batteries or 7v batteries unless you want to use a step up regulator.

You could do that, but it drains the mah of a battery leaving less playing time
